Software Engineer

To undertake software activities on a range of full life cycle projects. This will include requirements analysis, software design, development, implementation and testing. All activities must be delivered on time and to specification.

Job Details:

• This role will undertake software activities on a range of full life cycle projects.
• This will include requirements analysis, software design, development, implementation and testing.
• All activities must be delivered on time and according to specification.
• Degree level qualification or equivalent level work experience required with a solid understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing, Business Intelligence, .Net/Java/PHP programming and knowledge of Reporting tools.
• Technical requirements and experience will ideally include Web/Internet technologies, Web Services, Distributed Systems.
• Experience of team leading/people management is desirable.
• Requirement analysis by capturing KPI’s.
• Contribute to High level and low-level design documents according to requirements. 
• Development and testing.
• Implementation and Production support.
• Use available resources efficiently and effectively.
• Apply health and safety related good working practice.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings as and when requested.
• Comply with/implement policies, including those related to equality and diversity.
• Participate in any relevant in-service training.
• Undertake appropriate personal and professional development activities.
