- This role will undertake software activities on a range of full life cycle projects.
- This will include requirements analysis, software design, development, implementation and testing.
- All activities must be delivered on time and according to specification.
- Degree level qualification or equivalent level work experience required with a solid understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing, Business Intelligence, .Net/Java/PHP programming and knowledge of Reporting tools.
- Technical requirements and experience will ideally include Web/Internet technologies, Web Services, Distributed Systems.
- Experience of team leading/people management is desirable.
- Requirement analysis by capturing KPI’s.
- Contribute to High level and low-level design documents according to requirements.
- Development and testing.
- Implementation and Production support.
- Use available resources efficiently and effectively.
- Apply health and safety related good working practice.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings as and when requested.
- Comply with/implement policies, including those related to equality and diversity.
- Participate in any relevant in-service training.
- Undertake appropriate personal and professional development activities.
